What she said. My understanding is that you have to obtain a type of liquor license to essentially serve at your business. I'm sure Randi's link will have more information on that. I imagine it's not too different from what Allan has at his shop.

They do mention sampling in microbrewery's.

I believe there is a controlled serving size, but as far as I've ever heard as long as you're not selling the samples its okay. That's how it goes with the wineries in the area. I'm sure this is one of those things that varies by state.

If a person owns a retail bussiness can he give a customer a taste of beer for free? I just didnt have time to research today or make any calls...Jeff
