| If I wasn't going to be out in Minneapolis, I'd definitely be out there doin' some judging.
Jamil is a great homebrew resource and seems to be a really decent guy who just really loves beer and homebrewing, and the Summit Oatmeal Stout is worth the drive to Fargo alone.
...wish I could be there...
Good luck with the comp. I hope everything runs smoothly. | |

| Our advertising really paid off this year and the number of entries went from 276 last year to close to 450 this year. Now we need to get them all judged!
If you are not doing anything on the 29th and 30th, please consider a drive to Fargo to help out with stewarding and judging all of these entries.
You would also be able to attend the awards banquet with the speaker Jamil Zainascheff and Summit Brewing is providing a naturally carbonated firkin of their oatmeal stout which will be on beer engine.

| We have worked it out with Jeff so Wheels Wings and Hobbies will also be a drop site for entries so you don't have to pay shipping costs. We will have dates for the drop off soon once we know when our person will pick them up. Besides the chance to win the coolest medals in any competions along with lots of prizes, you will get feedback about your beer on the judging forms from a planel that includes at least 1 BJCP registered judge. You are also invited to come help judge on Oct 29th and 30th and stay for the banquet, but more info on that soon once the speaker if finalized and that will be big news when it comes out. There is a special rate for rooms at the hotel but you need to reserve your room before October 9th. Let me know if you have any questions http://www.hoppyhalloween.com | |
