| I can transport! I'll set up a box in the club house. I'm heading to Fargo the morning of the 14th, so you'll need to have your beers there by 6pm Oct 13th. Be sure to do all the registration work. | |

| If we know that there will be beers waiting, we might be able to get someone to pick them up and bring them to Fargo. I would suggest that you see if one of you is already making the trip first but if that won't work, let me know by around Oct 8th and we might be able to work something out. | |

| One small correction, entries will be accepted through October 21st, not the 23rd as the post originally stated. That was a typo and we need all weekend to finish processing and then sort the 1000+ bottles of entries we expect to show up this year. | |

| Hoppy Halloween Challenge Homebrewing Competition #14 – Pure Carved Evil. North Dakota's largest homebrewing competition is coming this October.
After being left in the dark last year the pumpkins are back and they are pissed! Check out the attached poster. They have come in force to taunt you with awesome prizes, fantastic feedback, and of course medals hung from those amazing one of a kind handmade lanyards. For a special touch this year, we are busy harvesting these bitter pumpkins to accompany all first place medals so don’t miss your chance at these onetime treats. The main dates are listed below. Registration Opens: Sept 22

Guest speakers are Damian McConn and Nate Siates, brewers at Summit Brewing in St Paul, MN talking about the 2011 hop crop from the brewers perspective.

Enter your beers so you can win some of the great prizes and you will receive feedback on your entries from a panel consisting of at least 1 BJCP judge. We pride ourselves at giving good feedback on the score sheets, something you don't always get in some competitions.
Consider coming to Fargo and attending Hoppy Halloween, it is a fun time with lots of good times, good people and good beer always flowing and we could use the help judging the beers - novices welcome, you would be paired with experienced judges.
