- Well i think the class was good...4 poeple and lots of questions ...I need to thank Randi and Mike for answering questions and helping with the odds and ends..{even thou i forgot the Irish Moss or Whirlfloc..}..the brew tasted and smelled good in my opinion..And again a little on the heavy side at 1.058 instead of 1.050 and a little lite in color for Mikes veiw...and i cant argue since i have not done an American Stout...It seems to have the Hop smell and Taste of the American Style.. Next Class is in 2 Weeks for the All Grain Method...Jeff
All I know is that it smelled and tasted great. I'm glad there's someone out there taking initiative to help spread the word about homebrewing and help folks make the transition from kits to partial mash. As we all know, all grain isn't far to follow after that step, which isn't a bad thing. Good to see see some new faces, too, along with the nice variety of stock in the store. I might have to get some malted wheat after the meeting...

| Do you have an email that people could contact you through if they want to sign up? I'll spread the word.
I might stop by to check it out too, if that's alright.

| If any of you dong extract kits want to see how i do partial mash and how easy it is ..this class is free...tell anybody you know to come watch and hopefully learn....Remember i can make most kits you see online right here..wheather its extract or partial or all grain...i am bringing my old range here to the store as i just bought a new one, as i need more BTU of course for faster boil and of course the wife was ok with that...the class will be in the rear shop and i plan on one about every two weeks...the Plan is to get interest of course,, but also if any new comer or club member needs or wants a brew done we could do it then....any ideas or changes are welcome just shout at me..........Jeff | |
