Meeting Reminder: 5/2/13

Hey Mashers! We've got a busy week ahead! Our May meeting is 7pm this Thursday at Ivan's (3804 Bayshore Bend, Mandan ND). Then on Saturday, May 4th, its Big Brew Day!

If you ordered the ingredients for the Bier de Garde recipe through Randi, the supplies are here and will be available for pick up at the Thursday meeting. The 5 gallon recipe batch is $23 and can be paid to Randi at the time of pick up.

About Big Brew Day, you can brew anything you like. It doesn't matter what style, or if it's all grain, or if its extract. We'd love to see you brewing! If you can't brew or don't want to, we still want you to show up. We will be there by noon to help people set up. We'd like for all the set ups to be done before 1pm, so please plan accordingly. We have a keg of Rye Maifest to share with the public, but you are also welcome to bring homebrews to share. Since this is a parking lot and we want to be respectful of the host, we will set up a table to keep all the beers at for sampling. This will help us eliminate garbage and glass containers. If you are brewing, please bring everything you need to brew. We are looking for a few potable hoses to use. Also, it might be wise to bring yourself a chair so you can sit back and watch the brewing.
