well i thought it was a kick ass meeting.

stand out beers for me, the Nogne clones, the moch porter, grapefruit IPA, dark Saison. there were so many beers there i did not get to try even a third of them.

thanks to all conversation was great, talked yeasts, malts, polotics, some of my favorite was the descussions on hops, and the different hops used in the various beers. i enjoy the entire night.

Well if mike's hops do blow your pallet, Jeff and I have Nogne clones that sure guaranteed too.

I'll have to take exception to being labeled a "bastard"....

I'm a hop head, and you WON'T KEEP ME DOWN!

Make sure you bastards don't go diving in to the highly-hopped beers right away. I've got two 3.8% American hop bitters for you kids to taste tonight and I don't want your palates to be blown to bits before I get there and can pour my low-abv lower-IBU stuff.

You better check yourself before you wreck yourself (or your palate).

I've got some new beers from a friend in Missoula... She picked me up 3 growlers of Kettlehouse: an IPA, a Belgian Strong Ale, and I think a Pale ale, but not sure on the third. They will be at tonight's meeting!

Here's the link: http://kettlehouse.com/our-beers

i will be running a little late, i have to show an apartment.

But i have a few pallet killers on tap for when i get there!

My nogne Imperial Stout clone (not cloned, but kick ass) nogne says it needs to age 6 months in a bottle, it hasn't age 2 weeks in a keg. but it did primary for 15 days, and secondary for 2.5 months.

i have two IPA's but if you are looking for one like Mike F's you won't get it here, his has that kick ass grapefruit citrus mine is not grapefruit. he uses Simcoe, and has perfected the American IPA. i will keep tweaking mine, there are 2 of them, they are different because of the dry hop additions, but you would swear it was more than that.

not sure if i have anything eles might have a few glasses of american stout left

Hey Mashers!

We've got a relaxed meeting scheduled for tomorrow night (7pm, in the Masherhaus).

So, bring yourself over to taste some homebrews, get feedback, or just for some good beer conversation. I dare say, it's the best beer selection in town!

Hope to see you there!
