That's a handy product. Definitely worth the $6 to find a leak.

I found this from northern brewer.

I have been having problems with leaks and have been through everything in my system numerous times with soap and water, cranking the pressure, and just about any other method I read about I tried.  This stuff has the consistency of soap but you apply it with the applicator that is built in the lid. It's non toxic and after checking I simply wash it off with warm water and paper towel.
