| What: Hopluck
Where: General Sibley Park, Shelter 1
When: Saturday, June 1st, 5pm This year's Hopluck will be held at General Sibley Park, just 3 miles south of the Bismarck Expressway on Washington St. The park includes camping sites for tents and campers with electrical hook-ups. There are also playgrounds, 24-hole disc golf course, a sand volleyball court, and horseshoes. So feel free to boat, camp, or bring games. This is a family event. If anyone is interested in camping that night at Sibley, please make your reservations. I hear they fill up pretty quickly. Feel free to post if you are camping and if you want to share post your campsite number. General Sibley Camping and Reservation InformationIf you don't know what Hopluck is, it is a beer or hop inspired potluck. Everyone brings foods with beer and or hops in them. This year we will have a prize for the most creative dish and the best tasting dish. So get those thinking caps on. | |
