So what is the status of this? Are we good to go for the 14th? After reading Eric's post I too have some spare hops so maybe the white elephant thing may work if we did stick to hops?

A white elephant ingredient exchange could be cool, but not everyone keeps an inventory like some of us do so it might not be very fair. Plus what if everyone brings a bunch of the same common ingredients?

I was just going through my inventory after dry hopping my cream ale (i don't like to follow the rules!) and realized I have a crapload of simcoe. I would be open to exchange offers for some of it. Preferably amarillo or any New Zealand hops.

and can we use whiskey bottles for pong?

Not sure if I would be in for the white elephant exchange, I have enough junk. The pong for bottles sounds like it has been fun in the past.

Thanks Ivan! I think a Friday or Saturday would be a great idea. Maybe we could bring in some food too. Maybe do some pizzas or sandwich platter.

Being my first year being a member but the beer pong for beer sounds like fun. If we need a place to host, I'm willing to host in the garage, its heated. Would it be better to do it on a Friday or Saturday to make it easier for more people to attend?

It is fun to pong for mystery bottles.... or really old bottles of High Life.

It doesnt need to be on a Tuesday. We used to do it the 3rd tuesday of the month, but since we don't meet then, we could really do it anytime.

The pong thing is pretty fun! But to be honest Idk if my new hrs are gonna start by then or not so I'm yet to know if I am able to show for it or not.
