Meeting Reminder: 5/1/12

Hey Mashers! Are you ready for a meeting?! We'll be meeting tomorrow night (Tuesday, May 1st) at 2401 LaForest Ave, Bismarck. The meeting starts at 7pm so please be on time. A big THANKS to Jean for hosting this one!

For this meeting we'll be having an internal competition for the AHA Club Only Scottish and Irish Ale (Category 9). Bring 4 bottles of your Scottish or Irish Ale for an all expense paid entrance to this competition. I know I promised some New Zealand hops for the Hop tea series... unfortunately, they're on back order. So, we've got a back up for this time around, but don't worry the Rakau, Motueka, and Nelson Sauvin will come.

Big Brew Day is this Saturday we need brewers! We've got 3 people signed up to brew, one will be doing an extract and the other two will be doing All-Grain. Anyone else that can bring out their system on May 5th please register here. We can't buy your ingredients for you, but if you brew you'll be given a little gift and entered in a chance to win a gift certificate.

If you can't do a demo, we still want you there! This event is public, so chances are, we'll need your know how and to talk to potential brewers. With that said, be sure to invite your friends, especially the ones that always talk about how they'd like to try homebrewing. We still need a few more votes to help us out with the Hopluck 2012 Date Change. For those of you not familiar with the Hopluck, it is an potluck where everyone brings beer or hop infused foods. Help us pick a new date by jumping on the forum and pick the day that works for you.
