Who is up for Happy Harry's Beer Fest?!?

It was pretty fantastic. There were a big bunch of good beers and a few really great brews.

Best things: Goose Island's Night Stalker, Bell's Quinannan Falls, Chimay Blue, and Rogue's Oregasmic Ale

Worst thing I saw: People chasing the really great beers they just tasted with 16oz Miller Light Cans.

It was good. There was a huge turn out. The lines were long, but they moved pretty well. For $10 to get in, it was a pretty good deal. I'll post pictures later.

Favorite taste of the night was Bell's Batch 9000.

If you are planning on stopping at Bridgeview Liquors in Moorhead MN (first right after you cross the Red River on I94) to pick up some brews that you are not distributed in ND, you might want to do that when you first get into Fargo as they have to close at 10pm per MN state law.

FYI, Randi and I will be leaving with Jeb at 3pm from our house in Lincoln. We'll be returning later this evening after the event. If anyone else is interested, feel free to give me a call or show up.

We should know tonight how many people plan on making the trip.

If people are interested, I can get you a deal on a hotel room if you haven't already reserved one. One of the PHC members works in the office which manages several hotels in Fargo (and other towns too) and can you a discount if you want to stay in one of their hotels; Motel 6, Country Inn & Suites, AmericInn, etc.

I know there were a few folks interested in hitting this event up at last nights meeting. Is anyone interested in attending? If so, would you also be interested in staying the night and meeting up with the PHC as Dean mentioned in an earlier post?
