After doing a brief product search, they've both got the same 1.8 lovibond rating. On the other hand, the pilsner malt has a lower diastatic rating of 150 versus the pale's rating of 161, so you'd need slightly more pilsner malt to get the same OG. However, the difference would be very, very small. Beyond that, you'll probably only taste a difference in lighter beers, whereas in ambers and stouts where specialty malts make a majority of the flavor, you won't notice much at all. The big thing between the two, as you may know, is to do a 90 minute boil with the pilsner malt to boil off the excess DMS it carries. Other than that, it's no big sweat.
