Hey Mashers! Don't forget, we're meeting this week Thursday (March 7th) at 7pm. Adam has kindly offered to host this weeks meeting. So head on over to
5600 Woodrow Drive this Thursday for a chance at that Masher Paddle.
Also, a quick shout-out for Masher Ted. This Thursday Ted's brewery, Buffalo Commons Brewing Company, will have its first public tasting. The tapping starts at 5:30 at Peacock Alley. Congratulations Ted!
St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner! No green beer for us! We'll have a whole keg of Irish Stout to drink! We'll tap the keg at 1pm (Saturday, March 16th). The shindig will be happening at the Philleo's (142 Dolan Drive, Lincoln). We'll have Irish themed snacks, but feel free to bring a treat of your own to share.
We've had a lot of great feedback on getting a club barrel. We are currently getting quotes from vendors, since shipping costs more than the barrel itself. The majority voted for the wine barrel. We hope to have one to use soon!
Speaking of brewing, BIG BREW DAY is 2 months away! Mike P has done a lot of footwork on this, so we need to get some feedback from everyone. Please, take 1 minute to do our
quick survey here. Main Street Liquor in Mandan has offered to let us brew in their parking lot, they'll also be advertising for us. We need to be sure that we're going to have a great turnout before we tell them to start promoting the event.
Brew Your Own Magazine has once again sent us a sign up for discounted subscriptions. The price did go up a little bit, but they're now offering digital subscriptions in addition to the magazine. We'll still be passing on the discount to you, a yearly subscription is $20. We are now taking sign ups for new subscribers and renewals. You can sign up at the Thursday meeting or
