Yeah, there's always a use for extra kettles.

We make soup in our old one. Very Happy

Have you used the kettle yet? If not, return it for a bigger one. Best to have a 7 1/2 gal or bigger pot so you can do a full batch boil. The other way works as well but just need to be careful.

Those are good kits but they are aalso 5 gallon batches. So just keep that in mind for fermentation time and such. Make sure you have the equipment. Hope to meet up with you sometime soon!

Welcome to the awesome world of homebrew!

We as a club are all mentors. We do brews of the month to whoever wants to host it along with other brewing activities. We are always available to help new members out with questions they may have. By all means, come to the holiday party next Friday to meet some of us, have some fun, and also can go over more details of the club and answer questions you may have.

Hello all my name is Mike looking to get started in home brewing mostly cause I love hefeweizen and can't find good hefe around bismarck. Im ex military and was stationed in germany for two years thats where the love of hefeweizen comes from. right now just have cheapo mr beer starter thing, going to get a good set after the holidays. but would love to help some one out that already does brewing and see what needs to be done with a real home brew set
