Hey folks! The February Muddy River Masher meeting is tomorrow (February 7th).
Click here for directions. The meeting starts at 7pm, so please be on time as to not inconvenience the host or speakers. If you are bringing new brews you'd like feedback on, please take a second to refresh your memory on your recipe or bring a copy with.
We'd like for everyone to know what they are tasting and who it was brewed by. This is the most common complaint from new comers. So please, don't be shy, share your brew and say a little something about it.
This meeting marks the
first of many in the Grain Tea Series. We will be tasting and comparing 3 steeped grains; 2-row, 6-row, and Pilsner. Feel free to bring a notebook if you want to take notes. We'll also be discussing more on the brew style of the month, which is an Oktoberfest. Mike P will be hosting
the Oktoberfest brew on February 18th.
And last but certainly not least, the Mashers will be heading out to Wibaux this Saturday (Feb 11th) at noon for tour of the Beaver Creek Brewery. Several of our friends from the Heart River Homebrewers will be meeting us there for the tour. If you haven't already, please let us know if you are attending (
post here) before Wednesday so we can make sure we have ample transportation.
You still have time to
vote for the next taster glass, but do it soon so we can get them ordered.
Cheers!
