Moving Kegs Empty

You know, I didn't think of it last night, but that's probably really accurate.

Mikey T., next time release the pressure before bringing a keg over and you can throw some gas at it when you get the the 'hause.

Moving Kegs Empty
PostSubject: Re: Moving Kegs   Moving Kegs EmptyWed Apr 06, 2011 11:57 am

I was thinking about this after I left last night, wouldn't raising the pressure and then bouncing the kegs around in a vehicle be just like shaking a freshly kegged brew to get it to carb in a hurry? I don't know what the answer is, would a person be better off if they relieved the pressure b/4 moving? I'll be interested to see what others have found out on this one...

Moving Kegs Empty
PostSubject: Moving Kegs   Moving Kegs EmptyWed Apr 06, 2011 8:41 am

Ok last night I brought two kegs of beer both did not fair very well in transporting. I was wondering what the proper technique was in transporting kegs.

I did up my psi to 25 before. I take it this is a big mistake.

Please let me know if you have any ideas.
