I have stored it in jars before and it worked good. This time I plan to freeze the vials. I think the jars will break.

I store my yeast in jars. They are easy to sanitize, and the yeast cake will be approximately 2-4 times the volume of yeast you started with, depending on your fermentation.

Does anyone have any empty yeast vials lying around that they would part with? If not, does anyone know where I can get anything similar in Bismarck? I am going to be harvesting yeast and would like to store it in the vials.
