Muddy River Mashers' 3 Finger IPA Recipe

SG: 1.063
FG: 1.016
ABV: 6.4%
IBU: 118
SRM: 13º

10 lbs. American Two-Row (Briess
2 lbs. Crystal 20
1 lb. Crystal 40
.5 lb. Crystal 80
2 lbs. Malted Rye

For Mashing, begin with a rest at 130 degrees Fahrenheit, slowly stepping up to 154 degrees Fahrenheit
over the course of 20 minutes. Then hold mash for an additional 40 minutes at 154 degrees Fahrenheit.

1 oz. Centennial at 90 minutes
0.5 oz. Centennial at 45 minutes
0.5 oz. Centennial at 30 minutes

Add "three finger" sized additions from 6.0 oz. Chinook, Citra and Glacier mixed hops for each minute
remaining in the boil.


Wyeast 1764 Rogue Pacman
(Optional: additional packet of Safale US-05 Dry American Ale Yeast with above)


Begin fermentation at 64º for two weeks, then increase temperature and hold at 66º. Hold it there for couple days to complete fermentation.

Finally, keg or bottle for 2.3-2.4 volumes of CO2.
