| Important Hop Luck-related update. I tested the carbonation on the 3 Finger IPA, which of course involves sampling it. There's only one thing for me to say. This stuff rivals, or exceeds, any commercial beers I've had belonging to this style. That is all. The beer will speak for itself on Saturday. Rest assured, this will be a regular on my rotating taps. | |

Thanks! | |

Well, for spicy hops, I'd recommend Argentine Cascade, Cluster, Willamette or Galena. All would fit well, though some are spicier and more robust than others. Sort of a personal choice. I'm really looking forward to seeing where you take this! | |

| Oh man, baby back ribs would be excellent. Centennial, ground up, would make a nice rub, possibly coupled with a spicier hop. I can bring a bottle of the 3 Finger IPA to the meeting tomorrow for you, though it's not very bitter, more smooth and citrusy (will have to begin the hop additions earlier in the boil). Otherwise we do have Biel Beer too, which has a stronger malt profile with a less distinct bitterness. In any case, our meeting topic for tomorrow is ideas or suggestions for hop-infused dishes for the Hop Luck, so this is right in that vein. | |
